Abstract

Dada is a special movement - anti-art movement, which took place briefly in Europe in the early twentieth century, but its mark on graphic design is very strong. It’s said that: Dada’s thinking, aesthetics, and shaping have contributed to change the face of Western graphic design, and bring graphic design into a new era - modern graphic design. Dada’s expressions of shapes, words, and the use of cut-and-paste techniques to create shapes have become an indispensable part of modern graphic design. In this article, we focus on elucidating the particularity of the Dada movement and the characteristics and influence of Dada in the graphic design language.
