Abstract

Digital transformation originated in industry, manufacturing activities has provided an important platform for learning and skill development, innovation, and associated with researches, development and application of digital platform into production. Digital transformation has led to positive changes in the industrial sector. Applying digital transformation in the activities of enterpriese, especially manufacturing enterprises to create new production models is the core content of Industry 4.0. This article will present the characteristics of digital transformation and its impact on changes in the industrial sector. Such changes include: changing production models and methods, being the engine of industrial growth and total factor productivity (TFP), and the output multiplier effect for industries and the extent of their spread to other industries.
