Abstract

In the world, the graphic design industry has existed for hundreds of years and has become an indispensable part of the operation and development of the modern economy. Especially in applied graphic design, there can be the influence of many contemporary art trends. It has epochal nature such as Modern art movements (Cubism, Expression, Abstraction, Surrealism...), Postmodern art (Minimalism, Mass ...). It is the process of absorbing and being influenced by psychedelic art, from which designers develop and inherit aesthetics. This influence creates new subtle graphic design works that reach the creativity of new art. This study shows the characteristics of psychedelic art and its effect on poster design so that can be applied to the learning process and better practice of graphic design.
