SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE COMPETITIVENESS OF VINH PHUC TOURIST DESTINATION

With the increasingly important role of tourism in the economy, more and more countries and localities attach importance to tourism development, considering tourism as the main driving force for socio-economic development. Therefore, improving competitiveness becomes one of the important factors determining the long-term success of a country or tourist destination in attracting visitors. Based on the research model of competitiveness of tourist destinations developed by Ritchie and Crouch (2003), Dwyer and Kim (2003), the paper proposes a competitiveness research model including 05 factors: attraction of the destination, infrastructure and technical facilities, tourism products and services, destination management and human resources to analyze the competitiveness of tourist attractions in Vinh Phuc.
