Abstract

Lately years, the interaction, language in communication in general and  the turn allocation in particular are the subjects that have attracted the attention of many pragmatic linguistic researchers. By the method of conversation analysis, the method of qualitative description combined with the method of quantitative statistics, we study about the turn allocation in Vietnamese conversational communication in television football commentary programs as researching range. The material used in the article is 05 football commentary programs broadcast live on TV channels. Through the analysis of turn allocation strategies, the article provides some discussion and application suggestions for teachers in teaching in general and in teaching languages in particular.
