SOME KEY CONCEPTS IN THE STUDY OF STREET NAMES IN ENGLAND AND VIETNAM

The purpose of this article is to provide some fundamental themes in the study of street names in England and Vietnam. The descriptive method is employed to provide an overview of the study’s core ideas, which include syntax, semantics, and onamatology, using place names, personal names, and street names. These ideas are critical in assessing, interpreting, and comparing street names in England and Vietnam
