Abstract

In the current integration period, the demand for using Chinese in Vietnam has been growing strongly. However, the communicative ability of most learners in Chinese is still limited, especially distance students. Teachers have been active in innovating Chinese teaching methods, but the effectiveness is still not very high. The cooperative teaching method has many advantages such as high interactivity, increasing students’ opportunities and oral ability, helping teachers understand and assess the capacity and level of each student. Based on the research results of previous researchers, through drawing and summarizing experiences in the actual teaching process, thereby proposing and giving ways to apply the cooperative teaching method in teaching Chinese for distance students at Hanoi Open University in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
